Welcome to the EasyTrack ® Meter Reading System

This system uses smartphones or Tablet PCs to collect gas, water and electric meter readings in the field and pass them along to your billing system. Using a unique barcode or other identifier to quickly recognize each meter, all you need to do is scan or enter it and type in the current reading each billing period. From that, the system automatically keeps track of the readings and stores them in a database. With this method, meters can be read in any order and manual records are eliminated. If you have an Internet connection in the field, the readings are updated in real time. If not, they are stored on the local smartphone or tablet and transferred electronically to your billing system whenever a connection is re-established.

If we setup your account for you, we will provide you with login credentials. Click on the "Login" link at the top right of this screen and use the ID and password we gave you to sign in. If you are setting up a new account on your own, click on the "Create New Account" link at the top right of this screen. You will be asked to enter a new userid and password and the name of your company or organization. This userid is automatically the System Administrator for your account. You can add other users within your company once you login to the system with it. You will also be able to assign various levels of security to each user at that point. When you login with your userid, the "Customize" menu has options to add new users to your company and setup your billing periods, meters, properties and customers (optional). There is also an "Import" option to make it easier to populate your initial data or add new records to your database. The import process uses comma-delimited text files and you can download a sample from the import screen to help you get started.

Meter readings can be entered manually in this online system using the "View/Edit Meter Readings" link or from an Internet-connected handheld device. Click here to download the iOS version or here for the Android version of the handheld program. You will login to the handheld program using the same credentials as this online version. The handheld program includes all of the functions to add new meters in the field and enter readings for any meter in your system. Prior readings are also shown for data validation purposes.

Once you finish entering readings for a particular billing period, login to this online system and select the "Export Meter Readings" link to download a comma-delimited text file for input to your billing system. Prior to downloading, you can view or edit the readings and correct any data errors or print a hard copy, if necessary.
